Our Summer Clerks start with us in November (or, end of the Semester Two study period) and are with us until mid-February (until lectures begin for Semester One).

During your time with us, you will have two, six-week rotations across two separate teams, giving you maximum exposure to both quality and breath of legal work as a Lane Neave Summer Clerk.

You’ll have access to a variety of mentors, scheduled 1-to-1 catch-ups with Partners, as well as a designated buddy for each rotation to guide you through your time with us.

We want our clerks to walk away from their time at Lane Neave as well-rounded future lawyers, so we are proud to also facilitate fortnightly roundtable training sessions, allowing you to learn from industry specialists, while keeping in regular contact with your clerking cohort.

Our clerks gain full access to the Lane Neave summer experience – doing real legal work, attending client meetings, going to Court, and accessing our busy social calendar!
