We have partnered the rural sector since the inception of the firm over 140 years ago.  During this period there have been many changes affecting that sector and life is not now as nearly straightforward as it once was.

Some of the more significant issues for our rural clients include planning for succession, off-farm investment, resource management, sales and purchase (including rural subdivisions), leases, refinancing, partnerships, foreign ownership, forestry and duties.

We too have changed with the times and can offer our rural clients skills and expertise on all current issues that impact upon them and have in some cases considerable first hand experience to draw upon.

At the 2008 New Zealand Law Awards, Lane Neave was voted Property Law Firm of the Year.
