For the first time, Lane Neave is a sponsor of The Great Childcare & Education Expo which is being held in Auckland on 9 and 10 May.
The education sector intersects with a number of our legal practice areas. Over the two days, our stand will be manned by a range of lawyers with different areas of expertise, giving visitors the opportunity to get answers to any curly legal questions.
“Many in the education sector are frequently involved with the legalities around such things as property development, employment, regulatory frameworks, funding, intellectual property and the buying and selling of education facilities,” says Jaxon Grieve, a Partner in our Commercial Property team.
“The team on our stand have extensive experience across all of these areas and it’ll be great to have an opportunity to answer questions first-hand.
“Our job is to provide expert legal advice so they can focus on what they do best – ensuring our education system and facilities are as good as they can be.”
This year’s expo features about 80 exhibitors, with organisers expecting more than 1,000 visitors over the two days.
