Lane Neave support drives tangible outcomes for rangatahi

Lane Neave’s ongoing partnership with The Great Potentials Foundation continues to deliver measurable benefits for rangatahi, supporting their transition into tertiary study, vocational pathways and employment.

Earlier this month, Senior Associates Joseph Harrop and Gabrielle Thompson attended the 2025 MATES Senior Graduation, with Joseph presenting an award to students. The core mission of MATES (Mentoring and Tutoring Education Scheme) is to empower rangatahi in underserved communities to set and achieve their goals through mentoring and tutoring.

Our involvement in the graduation is one way we have supported Great Potentials and MATES over the past few years, with other initiatives including hosting annual open days at our Auckland office, donations and pro-bono legal support.

This support helps MATES to offer targeted mentoring and resources to youth, with feedback from students and whānau underscoring the programme’s impact. For example, our contribution was recognised following this year’s open day, cited by students as a memorable experience that encouraged personal growth and expanded knowledge.

Great Potentials is one of our three charity partners, plus we actively support a variety of other charitable causes and community projects throughout New Zealand every year.

Meet the team that makes
things simple.
