Lane Neave supports launch of new social enterprise

Many hours of pro bono support from Lane Neave have contributed to the opening of a new social enterprise organisation that helps infants, children and their families to thrive.

PerVigeō is a comprehensive assessment and treatment practice that specialises in developmental challenges faced by infants and children. The centre opened its doors in early June, bringing together specialists from key disciplines to create an integrated plan for each individual child in need.

As well as supporting a recent information evening for clinicians and childcare workers, Lane Neave has been providing pro bono legal support over the past 18 months to co-founders Dr Patricia Champion, Felicity Champion, and the wider PerVigeō team.

Contributing positively to communities is a high priority for Lane Neave and many of our staff do this by providing legal services without charge, or at significantly reduced rates. As well as supporting our communities, it is one of the things that makes Lane Neave a great place to work.

Lane Neave staff carry out hundreds of hours of pro bono work each year, with Partner Anna Ryan leading our involvement with PerVigeō.

“The reward of supporting an organisation that’s personally meaningful is just so special – especially when you see the culmination of everyone’s work come to fruition,” she says.

“The incredible people behind the centre are highly skilled in early intervention, and their world-class service literally changes the trajectory of children’s lives. I’m so pleased to have been able to play a part in their successful launch.”
