Lane Neave has a specialist infrastructure and building and construction team with significant experience in various infrastructure projects.
We provide ‘end to end’ advice which includes risk analysis, procurement delivery methods, structuring, all contract documentation using New Zealand standards, international standards and providing bespoke documentation on all aspects of infrastructure projects. Our team also includes specialist construction litigators who have experience in all alternative dispute resolution processes including mediation and adjudication as well as more traditional dispute avenues involving arbitration and litigation. We also work closely with our Resource Management team on projects and our Banking and Finance team who can provide advice on project funding.
Our team are experienced in providing infrastructure advice on infrastructure projects including water, roading, city realm infrastructure projects, solid waste and wastewater, and other horizontal infrastructure projects.
Our team currently acts for a range of local authorities, commercial clients, universities, ports and government departments.
As part of our infrastructure work we work collaboratively with client project teams ensuring we are across all aspects of projects that have an impact on the advice we provide. This includes assisting with internal business case requirements at the start and end of projects, being aware of external and stakeholder issues and complying with the Government Procurement Rules and Construction Sector Accord.
