There is an obligation on employers to investigate matters before an employee is invited to a disciplinary meeting.  This is especially the case involving allegations of bullying and harassment.  This seminar will look at the process to investigate a matter and some practical tips to ensure the process runs smoothly.

This session will look at the recent case law in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. The principles established in relevant health and safety District and High Court decisions will be explained, to allow you an understanding of your obligations as a PCBU. The first defended decision will also be analysed  in some detail, which will provide helpful insights into your health and safety obligations.
