Alison is a Law Clerk in our Dispute Resolution team in Auckland. She began work at Lane Neave as a Summer Clerk in 2023. She is preparing to be admitted as a Solicitor in 2025.
Alison works on a broad range of matters, including debt recovery and insolvency. Her work includes legal research and analysis, drafting court documents and preparing legal submissions. She values providing clear and comprehensive legal support in an accessible manner.
Beyond the workplace, Alison has been involved in legal initiatives with the objective of promoting accessibility. She has run legal education sessions for students and advised at legal help clinics in the local community. She also has experience as an advocate as a representative on the College of Law Trans-Tasman Student Body, as an elected member of her University Students’ Association and as a spokesperson for people with hearing loss in Australasia, for which she has spoken in the Australian Parliament.
In addition to her university qualifications, Alison holds an ATCL Diploma in Speech & Drama (Distinction) from the Trinity College of London.
