Lane Neave recognised in The Legal 500

The specialist expertise of six Lane Neave teams has been recognised in the annual Legal 500 Asia Pacific assessment of leading global law firms and individuals.

The following teams have been ranked in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2021:

  • Banking and Finance
  • Corporate and M&A
  • Dispute Resolution
  • Investment Funds
  • Labour and Employment
  • Projects and Resource Management

In addition to the team rankings, Lane Neave Partner Evelyn Jones has been recognised as a leading individual practitioner in the Banking and Finance sector and Jacob Nutt has been recognised as a Rising Star in the same sector.

“Being ranked in The Legal 500 is an important, independent recognition of the technical excellence of a number of Lane Neave teams and their Partners,” said Andrew Shaw, Lane Neave’s Managing Partner.

“The Legal 500 Asia Pacific provides unbiased commentary and insight into the legal marketplaces of 25 Asia Pacific jurisdictions. Their researchers carry out extensive research into each jurisdiction and contact clients for feedback on the lawyers they instruct.

“Success within this framework is a reflection of the calibre of our clients; the complexity of the work we do for them; and the service focus we provide to create solutions and solve problems for our clients.

“We are extremely proud to be so highly regarded by our clients and the independent research team at The Legal 500,” he said.

Banking and Finance Partner, Evelyn Jones, said it was particularly gratifying to see Jacob Nutt named as a Rising Star within The Legal 500.

“Jacob exhibits all of the attributes which are the hallmark of a successful Lane Neave lawyer,” she said.

“He is highly intelligent. He pays attention to the detail of our client requirements. He is pragmatic and experienced. He has a focus on client service.

“This acknowledgement by The Legal 500 marks Jacob as a lawyer with an extremely bright future,” she said.
