Dominic is an Auckland-based Associate in our Dispute Resolution and Litigation Law team.
Prior to joining Lane Neave in March 2025, Dominic worked for a specialist litigation and insurance firm in Auckland. He primarily acted for insurers and their insureds, including real estate agents, property managers, engineers, architects and forestry professionals, as well as local Councils – in civil litigation and professional disciplinary matters.
His experience includes acting on matters before the Tenancy Tribunal, the District and High Courts, the Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal, the Human Rights Review Tribunal and the Weathertight Homes Tribunal. Dominic has also appeared at employment and commercial mediations and judicial settlement conferences.
Dominic commenced his legal career at a large national firm. After completing a successful secondment, he worked for the Accident Compensation Corporation on a permanent basis. He managed disputes in the statutory review process brought by claimants and employers against decisions made by the Corporation. He frequently appeared on behalf of the Corporation at hearings and mediations.
He completed a BA majoring in Political Studies and French at the University of Auckland before obtaining his LLB from AUT University.
