Helen has extensive experience in dispute resolution. She has represented clients in the Court of Appeal, High Court, District Court, Tenancy Tribunal, as well as in adjudications, arbitrations, and mediations.
Helen takes a hands-on, responsive approach for every dispute from start to finish. Her goal is to make complex legal issues easier to navigate by offering clear recommendations that support effective decision-making.

Building & Construction
In addition to dispute resolution, Helen regularly advises on:
- Construction contracts for developers, homeowners, and contractors – including both bespoke agreements
and standard-form agreements such as NZS and Master Build. - Legal matters affecting bodies corporate, including redevelopments, governance and compliance issues.
She is a Supplier Member of Strata Community Association (New Zealand), the peak professional association for New Zealand body corporate developments.
Helen speaks Mandarin and Cantonese fluently. She completed her law degree in 2003 at Victoria University of Wellington.
