Joshua specialises in banking, restructuring and insolvency law, with years of experience advising banks, private equity sponsors, corporates and non-bank lenders. This includes extensive international experience in cross-border acquisition and leveraged finance.
He has a broad range of experience advising clients on complex restructuring, workout and insolvency matters. This past experience includes roles assisting corporate debtors and creditors, as well as directors, insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders in businesses facing financial difficulties.
Joshua started his legal career in New Zealand before working in London for an extended period for leading US law firm White & Case LLP. He then became Executive Director for a Japanese global investment bank before returning to New Zealand to work at another major law firm.
Joshua was admitted to practise in New Zealand in 2005, and in England and Wales in 2008.
