She has worked at Lane Neave in 2022, following a stint at one of Australasia’s largest privately owned IP law firms. While there, she gained experience advising local and international clients in a range of intellectual property matters. She also held a position at another national law firm where she led their IP practice.
Since joining Lane Neave, Roxana has advised our clients on a range of matters, including but not limited to:
- trade marks, including managing trade mark portfolios, filing trade marks in both New Zealand and overseas, advising on branding strategies, infringement issues, commercialisation, licensing and enforcement of trade mark rights;
- copyright, including advising on copyright protection strategies, infringement, commercialisation, licencing and enforcement of copyright rights;
- antitrust/competition compliance and regulatory matters;
- consumer law issues including the Fair Trading Act, Consumer Guarantees Act and the Privacy Act; and
- product labelling and advertising compliance, including advising on the Australia New Zealand Standards Code.
Roxana has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and European Union Studies) from the University of Canterbury.
