Ben is a dispute resolution specialist with broad experience in commercial litigation and insolvency law. He regularly advises clients on a range of commercial issues including contractual, property, trust, insurance, and shareholder disputes. He also advises on fair trading and competition law matters. He recently appeared in the Supreme Court in litigation concerning the regulation of monopsony power in the dairy industry, in which our clients were successful in all courts in the first case of its kind.
Ben regularly represents clients as lead counsel in the High Court and in mediations.
Throughout his career Ben has been involved in advising stakeholders in complex corporate insolvencies, particularly in relation to contentious aspects and bringing claims to recover and protect assets. He also has practical experience with voluntary administration and advising secured parties of their rights under the Personal Property Securities Act.
