Women in Business Law Awards Asia Pacific

In 2022 Lane Neave was delighted to win both the supreme New Zealand award at the Women in Business Law Awards Asia Pacific, and the Asia-Pacific Firm of the Year at the Global Women in Business Law Awards.

The firm was also named New Zealand’s Work-Life Balance National Firm of the Year and Women in Business Law National Firm of the Year.

These awards recognise firms’ ability to support the development of women in the legal profession and provide work/life programmes to enable women to pursue legal careers. Individual awards recognise leading women lawyers, looking at the complexity of their work as well as on their advocacy, influence, and thought leadership to promote women in the practice of law.

New Zealand Law Awards

The New Zealand Law Awards is the only annual official recognition of excellence for the legal industry.

Since 2008 Lane Neave has been a multi-award winner as ‘Employment Law Firm of the Year’ and ‘Employer of Choice’.  We’ve also received recognition as Mid-Sized Law Firm of the Year and collected awards for Insurance, Banking and Finance, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, and Corporate and Commercial law.

In 2023 we won Employer of Choice (fewer than 100 lawyers). In 2021 we were shortlisted for Employer of Choice, Large Law Firm of the Year, and the Young Lawyer of the Year categories. In 2022 we were again shortlisted for Employer of Choice.
