Six lawyers and support staff have been recognised for their hard work, talent and drive, in our annual mid-year promotion cycle.
The promotions include people from our Corporate, Commercial Property and Employment teams.
The following promotions took effect on 1 July 2026:
Auckland:
- Peter Ko (Corporate) – Senior Solicitor to Associate
- Matthew Clark (Corporate) – Senior Solicitor to Associate
- Irini Meys (Corporate) – Senior Associate to Special Counsel
Wellington:
- Helena Scholes (Employment) – Senior Solicitor to Associate
Christchurch:
- Aglaia Tee (Commercial Property) – Senior Solicitor to Associate
- Kay Thomson (Commercial Property) – Estate Administrator/Registered Legal Executive to Estate Administrator/Senior Registered Legal Executive
In congratulating the lawyers, Lane Neave Managing Partner Ben Russell said the group had consistently proven their ability to navigate complex matters while delivering meaningful outcomes for both clients and the firm.
